TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

HANDICAP TOURNAMENTS: Number of places paid is based on amount of prize money available. Standings are based on net scores.

SPYGLASS QUALIFYING - Best Two Balls of Four (Four Man Team): Pay each round separately. The Club Champion & 3 low net totals for both rounds will make up the team that represents the Club. In the event of a tie, sudden death play-off. To qualify for Spyglass, entries play @ Max. 18.4 index and must have completed 10 rounds prior to the start of qualifying.

NCGA NET AMATEUR QUALIFYING: The low net player will represent the Club at the NCGA sectional qualifying. In the event of a tie, sudden death play-off. Must have completed 10 rounds prior to the tournament to qualify.

NCGA TWO MAN BEST BALL: Pay each round separately. - Maximum of 8 strokes between partners. Aces allowed. Two teams will represent the Club at an NCGA sectional qualifying round. The low best ball total for both rounds will be the 1st team selected and the other team will be the lowest Senior team(must be 55 years of age by the time the Championship proper rounds are held). In the event of a tie, a sudden death play-off. NCGA entries play @ Max. 18.4 Index. All entries must have completed 10 rounds prior to the tournament to qualify.

PRESIDENT’S TROPHY: Pay each round separately. Low net totals for both rounds wins Trophy. In the event of a tie, sudden death play-off. Must have completed 10 rounds prior to the tournament to qualify to win Trophy.

HAM TOURNAMENT: Hams awarded in this order: 1) Tournament Low Gross 2) Tournament Low Net 3) Closest to pin for 3 holes and 4) low net in each foursome. Can win only one award.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: 3 round flighted tournament. Pay each round separately. The Club Champion and the Champions in each flight receive trophy’s. The 1st and 2nd rounds will be stroke play. The final round will be Match Play for all. The 2 low gross totals after 2 rounds will play 36 holes for the Club Championship. The 2 low net totals in each flight will play for the flight Championships. Must have completed 10 rounds prior to tournament to qualify to win Trophy.

TOC / MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT: 2 tournaments in one. TOC participants must have completed a minimum of 15 tournaments to qualify: Any member winning a 1st place low net, any Trophy winner, the remaining top 32 members and ties with the most points and those who play every tournament, qualify. POINTS accumulate as follows: All tournaments played are worth 1 point each, you will also receive 1 point if you do not cancel before Tournament Director cancels due to adverse conditions. Extra Points accumulate when your net score is in the top 5 low net. 1st low net receives 6 extra points, 2nd 4 points, 3rd 3, 4th 2, and 5th low net 1 extra point. All ties will be determined by matching scorecards; last 9 holes, last 6 holes, last 3 holes, the 18th. If the winner has not been determined after this method, then the front nine will be used in same manner as the back nine. Bonus Points in relation to par are as follows: 1 point for 1 under, 2 points for 2 under and 3 points for 3 or more under. Loss of Points in relation to par are as follows: ½ point per stroke over net par with a maximum loss of 5 points ( equal to 10 over net par ). Loss of 5 points for: 1) Late Cancel, 2) No Show 3) Canceling before Tournament Director cancels due to adverse conditions. Memorial tournament consists of those not qualifying for the TOC.

DIRECTOR’S TROPHY: Pay each round separately. Low net total for both rounds is trophy winner. Must have completed 10 rounds prior to the tournament to win Trophy.

TWO MAN BEST BALL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: Pay each round separately. Players may choose their partner, otherwise Tournament Director will make up the teams. Aces allowed. The best ball total for both rounds are the Club Champions and receive trophies. Must have completed 10 rounds prior to the tournament to be qualified to win Trophy.

TURKEY SHOOT: Turkeys given using same format as the Ham Tournament.

CHRISTMAS CHEER: Booze and Beverages given using same format as the Ham Tournament.
